On Friday 08.08.08. we're celebrating club FAG YOU!'s 3RD ANNIVERSARY with DJ's JERRY BOUTHIER (Kitsune, Boombox, Kokon To Zai) & Daniel Palillo (Wunder)!!!
"Jerry Bouthier is a Paris-born but London-based DJ and producer. He’s resident DJ for Kitsuné parties held at both ends of the Eurostar; playing a mix of indie, electro, rock and pop, whilst avoiding the big obvious ‘mash up’ tunes so often relied on in nights of this genre and creating something decidedly more original. His sound is perfectly showcased on Kitsune’s BoomBox CD that came out last year – tracks from Rex The Dog and Headman sitting alongside Feist and The Young Punks, many remixed by Jerry himself with production partner Andrea Gorgerino, under the name JBAG.
Jerry was resident at BoomBox, which launched in June 2006, and became the most ‘need to be seen at’ party since, well, probably Studio 54. Strictly word of mouth, and with a fierce door policy, it was the Sunday night party where you’d see shockingly painted androgynous faces mingling with Agyness Deyn or Kylie, drag queens in towering bat-like gothic creations dancing next to models in bikinis."

Toukokuun lopulla Helsinkiin saapuu viime vuoden FLOW-festivaaleilla vierailleen CocoRosien ystäväbändi Bunny Rabbit, joka esiintyy FAG YOU! - klubilla Helsingin Kuudennella Linjalla sunnuntaina 25. päivä toukokuuta osana yhtyeen reilun kuukauden mittaista Euroopan kiertuetta.
New Yorkin Brooklynista kotoisin olevat Melisa Rinco alias Bunny Rabbit ja hänen partnerinsa Celena Glenn alias Black Cracker ovat tehneet yhdessä musiikkia jo muutamien vuosien ajan. Duon musiikki on salakavalan tarttuva sekoitus sokerisia melodioita ja synkkiä, hikisiä elektrocrunk-biittejä. Yhtyeen on sanottu olevan kuin CocoRosien tanssittavampi versio, ja sen soundia on verrattu muun muassa M.I.A.:an, Peachesiin ja Lady Sovereigniin. Bunny Rabbit saa omien sanojensa mukaan vaikutteita niin märistä unista, New Yorkin poliisista, katedraaleista, paholaisesta, ystävänpäivästä, suojelusenkeleistä, apinoista, painajaisista kuin takapuolta hytkyttävistä bassoistakin.
Muun muassa Glass Candyn kanssa aiemmin esiintymislavoja jakaneen Bunny Rabbitin esikoisalbumi "Lovers & Crypts" ilmestyi vuosi sitten CocoRosien johtamalla VoodooEROS-kollektiivin levymerkillä. Parhaillaan materiaalia uutta albumia varten työstävän yhtyeen FAG YOU! -keikalla tullaan taatusti kuulemaan sellaiset Bunny-hitit kuin "Saddle Up", "Lucky Bunny Foot" ja "Pussy Queen".

Heavy basses, driving rhythms, and vocals shape his sets by integrating electro, fidget house, baile funk, battleship-hop, slap rap, and anything else his eclectic palette fancies. He has played in many London clubs including Ministry of Sound, Fabric, 333, and Egg. He has played at some of London’s most respected nights for interesting dance music that pushes new ideas, including All You Can Eat, Trailer Trash, Nude, Anti-Social, Batty Bass, Get Rude, and Kash Point.

"Mikko is Finland's export to London's hectic club-scene and currently resident host at two of its trendiest nightspots BoomBox and Nag Nag Nag. Mikko keeps his guests busy with his Kate Bush-inspired dance styles and can't stop wondering why an egg doesn't get broken when you try to squeeze it from its top ends. He also dj's frequently all over Europe, playing all sorts of fun and crazy party music."

Buster Bennett started DJ'ing and running nightclubs in 2003 and has since built a small empire of successful alternative nights spearheaded by Antisocial every Saturday night at Bar Music Hall; a night which attracts a 500 strong crowd of London’s hottest artists, musicians and creatives.
He has numerous residencies including The Cock at the Ghetto, one of London's most successful and progressive electro nightspots. He has worked hand in hand with prolific producers including Warboy and is set to embark on a producing and remixing career of his own. Buster is also at the forefront of the Neu Rave movement with his innovative and exotic mixing skills. This year Buster will be working on many projects, these include Lady Sovereign remixes and a European tour playing at some of the most exclusive and cutting edge venues. Buster Bennett is also receiving a lot of media attention for his dancefloor filling antics including weekly reviews in Time Out and TV coverage.
